I have lived here for a year and am renewing the lease for another year. My apartment is spacious and the few repairs I have needed seemed to be done quickly. They remodeled the apartments, so even though they used cheap carpeting and fixtures, at least it looks nice and is clean and new. It is in an excellent location, close to freeway, stores, and downtown Redmond, Bellevue, and Seattle are only 10-20 minutes in each direction. It's clean and relatively safe. There is plenty of storage and I've never had trouble for my guests to find parking. The workout center and the pool are pretty nice, too. Sometimes the trash gets out of control (there is only one bin for the whole complex and you have to walk about two blocks to get to it). My only serious complaint is the loud neighbors. I had good ones up until the end of last year, when a couple of younger guys moved in above me. You can hear absolutely EVERYTHING through the walls--including when they use the toilet. I would recommend a top floor if you are sensitive to noise. They would come home after partying and make unbelievable amounts of pounding noise until 3-4 in the morning, including playing an electric guitar and playing basketball inside the apartment in the middle of the night and running up and down the stairs/slamming the door. I talked to them twice, management three times (who gave them warnings), and had to resort to calling the cops after 9 months when it was absolutely beyond ridiculous. There are a lot of younger people who live here, who can be rather inconsiderate when it comes to noise after ten(mostly on weekends). My other neighbors occasionally will have drunk friends out in the parking lot laughing and talking loudly in the middle of the night and the ones below me smoke pot once in a while and make my apartment stink--it's rather annoying and embarrassing, especially when I have company over. It becomes frustrating for the people who work normal jobs or have kids and have to get up early and are being kept awake all hours of the night. If it weren't for the crappy neighbors, this would be the perfect establishment (but you get people like that anywhere).
