This place is ridiculous! Upon move in my rent was set at $799 for a 1 bed 1 bath (650 sq ft). They said it was a move in special and would increase 10% when my lease was up. My lease was up in March and they wanted to increase the rent from $799 to $999 (a 21% increase, not 10%) and that is the cost if I were to sign another lease. If I wanted a month to month the rent would be $1335!!! A 41% increase. They only gave me 23 days notice before the rent was due that this is what the new rent would be. How am I supposed to come up with and extra $200 or $534 in 23 days' I wrote a letter and spoke with management about this and they wrote me back a nasty letter saying that they can surely get market rent for this apartment which is $1000 and basically said they don't care if I move out they can easily find someone else to move in. And the lady I spoke with upon move in (who quoted me a 10% increase at the end of my lease) just happens to not work there anymore. Come to find out she had been telling a lot of people information that was not correct....So now I have to pay the price for her mistake. Also, the management put a tow sticker on my car shortly after I gave my notice that I was moving out. I had been parking in the same spot for over a month...coincidence...I think not. The manager also followed me to the workout facility and told me that I was going to miss this place, I told him the new place I was moving into had a facility similar to this so not to worry. He asked me where I was moving, I told him, he said oh are those the tacky places on the right hand side of the road. I couldn't believe management would treat a tenant like this! My advice to you.....DONT MOVE HERE. The neighbors complained that we were using our washing machine too late at night....Walls are terribly thin. I can here the person upstairs pee! Seriously! One last thing...if you're planning to live here in the summer...bring your giant air conditioner. I lived on the 4th of 5 floors . I could barely breathe at night and forget about staying inside during the day.

Just some thoughts on the above review... there are tons of things in this writing that are falsities to the actual truth. Notice was given sooner than said (32 days to be exact), market rent was fought and successfully brought down from $1135 BY MANAGEMENT for her based on the inaccurate information given by a former employee! (The letter to her was in no way NASTY) The parking violation was placed on her car by the management, yet she... a) had not had that spot for a month (10 days) and b) the staff member thought that it was another residents car and they were warning THEM that it was reserved by another resident! The management team tried to be very cooperative and sympathetic to her and NEVER slandered another community, The response was that They knew someone who used to work at her new residency in Bothell. (He stated that they were 'Nice' and they had 'Cute' floor plans... Tacky was never spoken or even incinuated by management staff!) It has been brought to her attention that if inaccurate information in the above review is not corrected that the letter writen to her regarding her continued residency here could be posted as a response so that the Community Name be unslandered under false pretense. Oh, and one last thing... Read the other ratings here... Note Disclaimer Below... Visit... Meet the Management staff... HA! I completly agree with this person's comments about this place. It's a complete crap hole. Management sucks and I had the same thing happen to me. Rent went up almost 50% after renewal. DONT LIVE HERE.

Um, rents are skyrocketing all over the area. One isn't entitled to cheap rates simply because they've lived in a community for a lease term. NO ONE can promise you a 10% increase at lease renewal, and if they do you should be smart enough to question them with their boss. If you want to lock in payments for years, get a mortgage. None of how this person was treated sounds the slightest bit unethical or illegal. Sounds like someone wasn't getting the princess treatment they thought they were entitled to. Just move back in with mommy and daddy if you can't handle the real world.
