I moved into a unit that had old carpet and we were told it was new, within a few days large dark patches started to come to the surface and we made several requests for them to come and clean them. The manager released us from the responsability of the carpet before we moved out and then they got a new manager who said because he had nothing on file in writing stating that we would not be responsible for the carpet he sent me to collections for $462 to replace the used carpet that was trashed before we moved in.
