I recently finished a 6 month lease at Chelsea and I could not be happier that I didnt sign for a year. I honestly couldnt wait to leave. My apartment was loud and you have to listen to construction from the new building going up so close you feel like you can just reach out and touch it. Why it is necessary to have two apartment complexes both in the same block of town is beyond me. As for the ammenities that they try and sell you on so much, I dont think I used them one time. Its really not worth having to pay the high end prices for. Before you move here...Look around.

We're very sorry that your stay here wasn't exactly what you were looking for. Some people don't use the amenities as much as other residents, so I understand why you wouldn't want to pay extra for those things. But to those that enjoy having a 24 hour business center, 24 hour fitness center, an in-house movie theater, and a billiards room,....it's definately worth the extra money! We always advise prospects to look around to find exactly what they need. In regards to the construction, we're a little confused. The construction of our neighboring community was completed last summer, which was nearly 8 months ago (2 months after you must have signed your 6 month lease). This too is something people should consider before even signing the lease. If there is construction, and this would inconvienance you, it might not be exactly what you're looking for. As far as having another apartment community right next door, that is what the Juanita Village is based on! Convienance of having a home in a "community" near parks, a beach, drug store, Starbucks, bank, salons, dry cleaners, restaurants,..... We are very excited about the growing changes of Juanita Village! And there's still more to come!
