We moved into Chelsea about 7 months ago, and for the most part it has been an enjoyable experience. The staff are very friendly, and one young lady in partiular, Nikki, has been absolutely great! She has always been receptive of our concerns and is very personable. There have only been a few downsides to the place: Since opening "Brix", the wine bar on the corner, one of the two parking garages has been opened for pulic parking in a few spots. The unfortuante part about this is that the gate remains open all day up until 10PM. Thus, a big selling point (for me at least) of this property has been taken away if you live in the South end of the C building. The North end is still easily accessible from the garage in the other building. Also, of course, the place is expensive! In some areas, this could be a mortgage payment on a small condo. However, they have good specials most of the time. Whatever you do, don't pay the full price listed on the brochure.
As for the comments I have read from others about noise - never had a problem. The people two apartments down will blast their music, and I can hear it from the hallway, but not in our apartment. I have never heard any other people above, below or adjacent to me.
All-in-all this is a great place to live, lots of places to eat, drop off your dry cleaning, bank, and have a cocktail within walking distance. Great access to the bus lines as well. The 255 stops right out front, and you can be in downtown seattle in about 25 minutes.

I think Chelsea is AWESOME! They have a brand new staff and they are great! We sure miss Nikki of course, but we heard she moved on to bigger and better things. Bless you Nikki! Anyway Susan and Richard are wonderful and very helpful. As for noise, no matter where you go, any apartment home, will have noise.
