My roommate and I were promised our full deposit back after moving out two months into our lease because our apartment constantly smelt like cigarettes and the staff was completely unhelpful, however it has now been two and a half months and we have not recieved our full deposit back. We were promised by the owner of the complex that we would recieve it back and we still have not recieved it. By phone the owner promised us the next week and it has now been two and a half months. Needless to say we had to go straight to the owner because the staff, especially -----, does not believe the tenants and refused to give us the number for the owner so we could get our money back. You obviously dont want to live in a place that won't give you any information about upper management. There is obviously a friend of -----'s on here that keeps defending her and saying she doesnt understand why all these people don't like her but there are a lot of negative reviews to back up how she treats future tenatns and tenants living in the apartments. Once again do not live here because the staff is incompetent and even the owner will not follow through what he has promised you!

I am the Leasing Consultant here at Chelsea. I know for a fact this person was told of the parking restrictions, it was in the lease and she signed the addendums...How could you not know? I have also printed out free parking passes out to them for weeks at a time so they would not have to pay for 2 parking stalls, and yes I got in trouble for it. I really wish she would move on in her quest for trying to make us look bad.
She is getting ALL of her deposits back, we did not have to do that, but we did because it was the right thing to do.

I am the roommate of this girl and the Leasing consultant at Juanita is the one that WOULD NOT give us the corporate number for us to move out and told us we would have to pay a large sum of money to break our lease. We are only getting all of our deposit back because the management team that OWNS chelsea apartments gave it back to us because we have been so decieved. The leasing office at chelsea had nothing to do with that fact that we got our money back and actually tried to take $300 plus money out of our deposit and were trying to charge us for parking passes and remotes that we were never given. THE PARKING WAS NEVER MADE CLEAR TO US. we signed the lease with an officer that was brand new to the staff and mislead us on many points.

Just passing by reading reviews of this facility and I noticed that the "roommate" is supporting the original poster, but isn't it odd that both the original poster and the "roommate" spell words with "cei" incorrectly?! The poster misspelled "recieved" (sic) and the "roommate" misspelled "decieved" (sic). I don't know, maybe it's a coincident???

I believe that you are just a very bitter person, who is a habitual liar. All of the staff had tried to help you, and because you did not get your way, you have to lash out at the people who actually tried to help you!
As far as -----, she was the only one helping you, it seems. She is not the person who was supposed to make sure the money you were to get back was appropriate, it was the other 2 in the office. I do have to say that I feel very sorry for your baby to have such a brat for a mother!

First of all for the reply above I'm not ---------nor do I plan on being in the near future so whoever is responding is thinking of the wrong person and it's obviously the leasing consultant because why would they assume I'm ---------it doesn't even make sense. What a bunch of -------. I didn't get my money back they tried to screw us out of $300 for things we never did. It took 6 months to even get a reply back about our deposit. So I'm telling what happened to my situation if you want to move in and chance this be my guest. I think it's funny how everyone who reads this is defending ----- it must be all her friends. As for the mothering comment it takes a bad mother to know one, but again I'm not even ---------so I'm sorry you feel bad for the children I have that don't exist.

This cracks me up...The Leasing Consultant is obviously right, and the complainers, why are you still complaining, shut up...You said you got your money back so stop your crying and move on, grow up and get an adult life!
I have toured Chelsea, I do believe they should get a smoking policy set up, you can totally smell the smoke and that is why I did not move in. Otherwise, I would've.

what's amazing to me is that when you sign up for an account on apartmentratings.com you have to check a box saying that you are not a staff member... So why is the leasing consultant even on here?? I think this proves enough that she is a liar, if she'll lie about a stupid thing like that then what won't she lie about.. i also dealt with ----- an agree with the complaints completely.

I just moved out and I had the exact same problems with ----- that this other tenant did. She is absolutely horrible!
