TOTAL RIP OFF!!!

When I first moved into these apartments a year and a half ago, I thought they were great. Alot of space reasonable rent and nice looking facilities. However, when it came time to move out and move on....this is where the night mare begins. Make sure you READ the whole agreement before signing. Don't let them read over it and make there comments as to what each thing says. DO NOT TRUST THE MANAGEMENT!! They are very misleading!! There was a $175 non-refundable fee for "absolutely nothing" (these words came right from the managers mouth at check out time.) At the time of signing up he had led us to believe that this charge took care of the carpet cleaning and blind cleaning...WRONG!! I think that this may be a signing bonus to whomever "tricks" you in to believing them. The remaining $175 is refundable, however he said most of the time there is actually a balance due by the tenants. The remaining $175 is used to cover the $95.00 cleaning charge, the $35 carpet cleaning, the paint charge (not given an estimate) no damage to paint by us, very good condition!)and your final sewer and water bill is taken out ours was $80! So...already we are looking at $210.00 and that doesn't include the paint charge!! I have lived in several apartments and NEVER have I had an experience like this. The management is very rude, arrogant, and VERY MISLEADING!! Please take this all into consideration when looking to rent at this location.
