We were deceived at first as well. Thought it was nice. For a year it was great. THEN the hell began. Our apartment started falling apart, nothing was done, except to raise our rent. Our nice neighbors moved out and were replaced by the WORST family you could ever imagine.
Screaming, yelling, threatening, slamming doors, crying between the kids, parents, even the dog was awful..
Management's solution' Nothing.
We started asking the neighbors directly to please keep it down. Instead, the continued to slam the doors, scream even louder and then complained that we were harrassing them, for KNOCKING ON THE DOOR!!!!
Oh, NOW the management gets involved. But, only to side with this horrible family! Because they presented their children as poor pathetic little angels. And since obviously couples with children are SO much better than single couples..they took their side.
The ONLY solution Evergreen EVER presented to us was to move apartments...and re-sign our lease all over again and go through the credit check process all over again and pay a higher rent. We lived their for 3.5 years!!! And THAT was their solution'''
Evergreen Heights is by far the WORST place I've ever lived. Save yourself a lot of grief and keep looking...
