Not worth the price....

Initially I thought this apartment complex was golden. However, once I moved to a one bedroom unit (as priced) I realized it wasn't so great.
First of all, the deposits are high for a place that does not offer *luxury* homes. Then there were consistent and ridiculous maintenance problems. I had repeated water damage what issues they did tend to, they did a poor job.
In addition, the kicker, the complex has some sort of contract with a mental health facility. Therefore, there are mental health patients deemed social and of minimal risk that are peppered thru the complex. Some are upstairs, some are downstairs.
Naturally, this doesn't seem like an apparent problem. However, the mental health company has allowed a few tenants that are questionable. Like a schitzophrenic who would enter unlocked apartments without knocking or notice. Or the ones that yell in the middle of the night at their supposed 24 hour caretaker. There have been several times where caretakers have admitted to other tenants to drinking on the job and not watching their patient.
Hunters Run asks far too much in rent to be worth the hassle. They also require a $40 washer/dryer rental if you don't provide your own. The place used to be nice when I first moved in, but has drastically gone downhill due to multiple changes in management.
One more thing...some people don't follow the leash law in the complex and allow their dogs, known to bite, to run around.
I would not recommend this place to anyone. I am very glad I got out of there.
