I have been at Montebello for a few months and have for the most part had more "good days" here than bad. The grounds and clubhouse are beautiful. They (BRE) also has a HOME plan that I thought was a great idea. (I did not sign up for it, but it would be great for those looking to purchase down the road.)

The problems I have had lie in the Maintenance staff and office team. The Maintenance staff is terrible. They have a new supervisor now and he is not much better then the ones before. It still takes WEEKS to get my requests done. Every time I have called the office to check on them, they look up the requests and say, you are right, it was put in on "such and such date" and I promiss it will get done soon. I have called and found out that they have a full time staff of three. (These are new apts.) It shouldnt take that long to get things done. (And if it did...they could atleast have the decency to call me to let me know!)

The Office staff is bad too. Doug, the leasing person rented to me and I have had nothing but issues with him ever since. Several times in the past months I would stop in for a package or whatever and find him alone in the office either on the phone to a friend or spouse (in a heated conversation) or just sitting at the desk doing nothing..just letting phones ring. Very dissapointing service.

The only redeeming quality seems to be the Manager and her Assistant Kirsty and Kristy. They are always as on top of things as can be. Always fun and sweet and helpful. BRE is lucky to have them!

Over all. More Good than bad!
