Overrall, Cascade Pines was a pleasant place to live. The units are clean and fairly quiet, the grounds are well kept, and the office staff are extremely friendly. With the specials, our rent was very cheap and moving in was a snap. We didn't hear much noise through the walls, but there seems to be an unusual amount of activity outside during the night.

Some neighbors weren't particularly friendly and there was dog poop all over, even right in front of the doggy bag stands stationed throughout the complex. the biggest problem I had with CP is that the tenants aren't respectful of the grounds or their neighbors by picking up their litter or taking their oversized garbage elsewhere (and the dog poop thing). But the staff did do a great job picking up after everyone. Parking wasn't usually a problem, but occassionally a visitor spot (especially at night) was hard to find.

The office and maintanance staff were awesome and the pool, tanning, fitness center, and business center were generally clean and not too busy. Everything that needed to be fixed (which wasn't much) got fixed. The only thing that didn't was the cracked fireplace, so we couldn't use it at all.

If you're living on a budget Cascade Pines is perfect, but if you can afford a little more, you're likely to be surrounded by tenants who care a little more for their living space (and yours).
