Where do I began' First, this complex will let any and everyone move in. Sounds good if you have not so great credit, but I mean this in a different sense. 10 illegal immigrants ,in a one bedroom: NO PROBLEM. People who let their kids run wild until 1 in the morning, having rock fights around all the cars in the parking lot: COME ON IN! Management does not enforce any rules and if they send out an occasional reminder flyer about this issue, its in English, which none of the violators can speak, let alone read.
Cars get broken into all the time, and the management says they have a security car to do check ins. That s true, but they drive around the neighborhood at 7 pm. I m no criminologist, but I can say with almost 100 % certainty that people dont break into cars at 7pm, when the sun and all of little Mexico is out still out playing.
Finally, the apartment had a 400 dollar deposit. 200 was non refundable for "normal wear and tear". Not unusual, but when I went to collect my 200 REFUNDABLE (after leaving the apartment in better condition than when I moved in) they claim they needed to take carpet cleaning and sanitization fees out of that. Strange..I thought thats what normal wear and tear" was. The apartment manager or whatever she is ( some russian lady), says "yeah carpet cleaning and sanitization is normal wear and tear. It's something we have to do after every person lives here, no matter how clean you leave it . ( My point exaclty) So then I ask "why are you taking those fees from my refundable deposit, when the non refundable is to cover things like that'" She seems confused and replied "we have a lawyer who deals with it". I asked if their lawyer can explain it to me. She said he can once we're in court. Okay... isn t that a little too late'''
My final word of advice. If you feel you must live here. Ask for a unit in the front portion of the complex. Sancerre admittedly acknowledges that they cram all their section 8 residents in the back buildings (those I shared the parking lot with ). You DO NOT want to be around that!

I am not particularly happy with your comment re: Section 8 residents as you characterize them to be in your statement. What do you exactly mean by that? Are you implying that all Section 8 beneficiaries are a pain or hassle to live with? Be careful what you spread around in print!!!!
