Poor managmenet

Overall, The Spinnaker is not a bad place to live. It's clean, quiet for the most part, and the floor plans are nice.

The problem is the managment ... it has changed a lot since April of last year. New mamangement comes in, and then another group comes in to manage before you've even met the last new set.

The current management is friendly, but they're all smiles .. not much delivery behind the smiles. The management staff back in April were fantastic .. it was a pleasure to see them, and they were always proactive with handling any needs I had. I really felt like they knew and understood that I could have selected from many other complexes, but I choose The Spinnaker. The fact that they kept the service up after I moved in was GREAT!

When I moved in, pkg receival was offered as a service with delivery to my apartment. Now I don't always get notices that I received a pkg, and I often have to ask the office staff about it. I miss the days when I'd come home at my pkgs would be left at my door for me as it was with the previous 2 mgmt staffs.

When I moved in there was no charge for water and refuse pick up. Then another company started to charge us (Minol Mtr). There were many problems with the new company, so the new office mgt staff sent notice that every apartment renter would pay the same flat rate. Now I pay more with this flat rate than I've ever paid for water and refuse in all my years of renting. You get the idea that the office mgmt staff decided to charge everyone the same flat rate in order to keep complaints with Minol Mtr to a minimum.

The maintenance staff are top notch though.
Whenever I've had any problem, they've very quickly responded ... even when the problem was not major, and it was their day off :-)

There's no excercise equipment, but there is a pool and a jaquzzi.

My vote ... The Spinnaker is a good place to stay for 6 months to 1 year, but get out before they raise your rent without anything new to offer for it.
