Nice apt with some pros, but too overpriced for its cons

The Tera has a lot of great features and the apt I am in really has that luxurious look and feel too it. The apartment has some nice features like the marble bar and countertops and the bathrooms also have a really nice finish. The apartments are really quiet. Since I have been here I haven't really heard anything from any of the neighbors and I haven't gotten any complaints in return.

The location is great. Everything you would ever need is within walking distance. It is right across the street from the ParkPlace so if you want to dinner and movie at a moments notice just go. It is also close to downtown Kirkland so you can always walk down there to do things. The view from the rooftop patio (furnished with lawn chairs and even a heavy duty grill) lets you see a lot of Kirkland and gives you a wonderful view of the lake.

The management is also very warm and friendly. I have never had any problems with them and they are always eager to help you for any reason whatsoever.

However... there are some cons with the place. There is hardly ANY reception in the apartment I'm in. My roomate and I both have ATT\Cingular and we hardly get any bars. Friends of ours with different providers also have the same issue.

Also, the water pressure of the toilets are horrible. They get clogged up very easily and it is very annoying. You better get an ergonomic plunger because you will be using it on a daily basis.

The size of the rooms for the price are not as large as I hoped. You can find larger apartments elsewhere for less. Also the parking spots are kind of small and cramped and are overpriced at $50/month per person.

Overall: If you go to downtown Kirkland a lot and don't mind spending the extra money for that convenience then get the Tera. Otherwise it isn't probably worth the money and you are better finding a place somewhere else.
