I think this is one of the most visually pleasant apartment complexes around. When walking down one of the courtyard areas between buildings one feels as if they may as well be in Italy. The only down side is that in these courtyard areas the apartments face each other and are in pretty close proximity. This make privacy a premium, you can hear when a neighbor across the way is listening to the radio or even talking on the phone and you better remember to shut the blinds when changing.
Overall I have really enjoyed the beauty of this place it is just the noise that makes it annoying. When a neighbor across the hall opens the door I have to look and make sure they have not come into my apartment, because it often sounds this way!
I have been very disappointed with Villaggio's false promises. I was told about movie nights, wine tastings and many other activities when I moved in. There is no notice of any of these activities. There is a monthly newsletter but it lacks relative information that I believe residents would be interested in hearing, such as when the heater in the pool will be fixed, or when the volleyball court will be completed.
I think the complex is still experience growing pains as construction is still going on, however I wish they would take time to consider the residents they already have.
Overall, visually this place is great, it just lacks many of the small details that would make it outstanding!

One other thing that is frustrating is the cards for opening door and the parking gate. For these cards to work they must be placed again the key pad, this becomes very difficult when driving, you must be very, very close to the parking structure in order for the card to work. So far I have seen two people damage their cars trying to accomplish this. It is also a pain when it is raining because you are sure to get wet. I appreciate the new technolody but would much rather have an opener that would work from a distance while I was in my car.
