My husband and I are young and newly married, so cost was a big issue for us in looking for an apartment. College Glen is an income guidline community so you can't make too much, but can't make too little. Overall we really enjoy the apartments. They are really large for the price (currently 2bdrm, 1 bath is 900 sq. ft. at $669.00/mo.) The bathroom in the 2 bdrm is HUGE which is nice, but I wish they would have spend more money on the faucets they put in, they never seem to stay clean. There is a lot of closet space which I really enjoy because we have a lot of stuff to store. Make sure you have your own lamps, there is very little overhead lighting in these apartments. There is a really nice pantry which makes up for a smallish kitchen and a nice closet in the master bedroom. It is currently just the two of us in our apartment, but it would be fine for a family with a small child (it's roomy, but three or more would be a bit cozy.) Overall, I would recommened these apartments if you are watching every penny but don't want to live in some run down apartment. They really are nice and well-kept. The complex is well lit and the Lacey police frequently patrol the area to make sure it is safe.
