I actually just moved out after receiving orders to move to South Carolina. My date for move out consistently changed and I was probably a nightmare of a resident. However, the staff was nothing but helpful and courteous. I never had a problem with any of the staff, and they were more than flexible when it came to accomidating me. When my clothes dryer was on the fritz, they let me use an unoccupied room to do my laundry while I waited a few days to get it repaired. The facilities are clean and near everything I needed. When I needed to pay rent and was out training, I simply called and had them charge my credit card. My move out was unexpected and I had zero time to clean or fix my apartment, so I was charged, but, it happens. The only thing that I was not happy about was the parking situation, but its not like they can do anything about space- its what they have. It was quiet except for the occasional motorcycle or loud car that flew up Carpenter St (which my bedroom faced). Even with the state that I left my apartment in, my new apartment complex here in Columbia, SC received a positive report from the Dakotas. So, the experience was great for me. Lara, Janae and the rest of the staff are awesome. Maybe you (the unhappy ones) just dont have people skills!

I think that you are overly gracious. Yes some flaws are forgivable, but when you pay that much for an apartment you are not unreasonable to expect a high quality overall experience!

Get real you must be a liar to have an experience like this with all the other negatives. It has nothing to do with the tenants not having people skills it IS THE MGMT. WITH NO PEOPLE SKILLS! Why criticize those who had a negative experience of the Dakota Apts. maybe you work for them????

Nope, doubt it...considering Uncle Sam cuts my check. I've lived in A LOT of apartments, the management is easy to work with here. Don't take it personal!

i think this is a joke! there is no way this person is for real. this place should be blacklisted!!!!!!! it is the worst place to live in Lacey and I have told everyone i know never ever to live here. If you are educated, have family, and 1/2 a brain in your head you are treated like &*(&*(. don't listen to this person.
