I lived at Firwood Grove for 2 years and enjoyed the majority of my time there. Jim, the manager and owner is great at responding to maintenance/repairs. He does good work so everything is in good shape. If something breaks down once in awhile, Jim'll come and fix it right away, himself! It's hardly noisy, only once in a while are neighbors a problem. Kids play in the parking lot, so they can be bothersome. The recycling and trash it doesn't seem are regularly emptied. And the mailcarrier is grumpy-but your mail is delivered (not stolen, like at some apts.). It's a couple of blocks away from Safeway and the bus stop is right in front of the property. Overall, I'd recommend Firwood Grove as a cheap, and respectable place to live.
