I never had any problems while living at these apartments. It wasnt until I moved out and got hit with a bill for carpet replacment! Claiming that there was pet odor. I had one cat who used her box, that I cleaned daily. How could there possible have been pet odor. During my walk through it was not mentioned at all! Later when I received my walk through paper work, that I had signed, there were suddenly comments on there about pet odor, that were not there when I signed it. MY BAD, for not getting a copy of the orginal that I actually signed. Silly me I actually trusted this managment! Even though my lease states that I paid a $300, and in the state of Washington, under the law, you can not call an amount a deposit then turn around and call in an "adminstration fee" as there lease does, they kept my entire deposit and pet fee, plus charged me and extra $150. Which should have been covered under my deposit, but Suzy is claiming that the "adminstration fee" does not apply to any charges that are applied to me. This is a false and wrong statement according to the way in which there lease is written. However, I am forced to pay this nonsense charge, because I dont need some desprate little woman ruining my A credit over $150 and sending me to collections. Perhaps she just cant stand that a girl half her age makes more than her and has a better credit score!
The may seem nice, but they will scam you in the end. I have lived in numerous different apartment complexes and NEVER NOT received my FULL deposit back, until this place. They will scam you!

I agree with you completely.This woman is a pro. She's been scamming for over 15 years and seems to be very proud of it. Don't let the "I'm a nice fat lady " fool you. She's a real slum lord. Sorry she has to pick on good people. Good things happen to good people, put this behind you. She's not worth it and it sounds like your well on your way. Renters BEWARE! we explain the non-refundable fee of $150 to EVERY resident. If you bring in an animal and you do not keep you apartment clean we will charge you for the damage. We do not put a new resident into an apartment that has pet odor. I am sorry you are not happy, but, you agreed to each rule when you moved in. Pets are a big responsibility!
