Lacey Park was a great place to live while I was teaching for 5 years in the local school district! I especially appreciated their competitive pricing, safety, location, and staff.
The buildings are locked, so you don't have strangers coming to the door, especially if you're on the 2nd or 3rd floor.
The complex is far enough back from the street that it doesn't feel busy, but it is on the bus line, and in easy walking distance of grocery stores, a neighborhood gym, the Chehalis Western trail, and more. There is a pretty good mix of generations, singles, families, which makes for a nice neighborhood. The walls are thin sometimes, but quiet hours of 10pm to 8am are generally respected (and when they are not, there are consequences).
Closet space is good, and there are several garages also on site that are available to renters.
The staff are great. Suzy (the manager) and several of the maintenance team have been there since before I was, and they are pleasant, professional, and helpful.
I would recommend going in for a tour!

I am not a staff member. I don't even live at Lacey Park any longer. I posted a reveiw a few years ago and was then similarly tagged as "oohh... a STAFF person!!" In fact, I think someone removed it. I have nothing to gain or lose from posting on here. I just happen to be someone who doesn't have a chip on my shoulder, but still decided to give some "I've lived here" feedback. Have you ever noticed how much easier it is to give (and access) complaints or negative feedback than it is to give/access positive feedback? Maybe it's because this was my first apartment experience, and I had nothing to compare it to, but I stand by what I wrote. I am going to risk the clich??'s because they are so true: If you want good neighbors, BE a good neighbor. If you want people to give you their best, give YOUR best. If they disappoint you, maybe they're having a bad day, or maybe they're reflecting a negative attitude they're picking up from you (or someone else). Whatever the case, it's much more constructive (and courageous) to talk to THEM about the issue than to vent online. Hmm. I just unloaded on you. If I WAS a staff member, I probably just got myself in trouble. Sincerely, I hope your next experience is more positive, wherever it is. |
