I just moved into this apartment complex a few weeks ago and am very happy here. The apartment manager was AWESOME with helping me move in. She kept in contact with me throughout the whole application process and was very flexible with my plans and payments.
The apartment is very clean and taken care of. For any problems (dings in door frames, etc.) they have repaired them. They were very thorough with the walk through and made note of every little spot or chip.
The complex is VERY quiet despite being on a lake. I'm sure it will be a little noisier during the summer, but even with the weather warming up, it still isn't noisy. I can, however, hear the upstairs neighbors very well but that's pretty common with any apartment.
The grounds are kept fairly clean and landscaped (not an easy task when it snows in April) and they have a huge garbage dumpster with plenty of recycle bins. There are potholes in some of the roads but nothing that gets in the way.
I haven't experienced any of the owner's "Cheapness" referenced by the last person. I think for that the price is very reasonable for an 1100 square foot apartment including w/s/g. Some have w/d hookups and are a little more expensive (maybe $50 more') but it's still a great deal.
I signed a year lease and plan on renewing as I am quite happy here.
