A great place to live until you move out and expect a return of your deposit

Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2007
The apartments are ok, but when i did my move out walk through the manager said that everything was ok then when i got the check for my deposit it was less than a quarter of what i gave him. I also had another friend that they did this to. I was told the apartment needed repairs after he told me that everything is ok. It is an ok place to rent from if you do not need alot of closet space and you do not expect a return of your deposit upon move out.
