So I moved in here in the winter. There was a "long list" per the management, but I was was in a month after inquiring.
The management staff is always kind and very willing to help; although I've only had a few questions/inquires.
The repair staff are nice but I don't know if they are like that to everyone. One day after requesting a repair to my shower (waited 5 days, no shower/tub) and took showers other places while waiting for the repair, I was yelled at when I paged the repair staff Friday afternoon. Once they relaized it was me, I didn't get yelled at and they came and fixed it immediately.
I cannot stand my downstairs neighbors. They play loud music all hours of the day/night. Last weekend the BBQ'd in the rain and pulled their grill under the patio and filled my whole house with smoke. After spending two days at someone else's house while airing out my house, I complained. They stopped for a week or so, as I type this I can hear their music clearly over my TV (loud), my daughter's music, and me typing. I'm about to complain again. There young son has also opened my apartment door; after his parents chased him upstairs.
Parking...well...there is no assigned parking on my side of the apartments. When I filled out the lease I was told I'd have covered parking. Nope...that's the back half; I get to fight my neighbors for parking. Which means there are 12 cars fighting for the same 4 stalls. When the ones down stairs get a front parking they camp out in it for weeks. They will move one of their other cars into the spot to save it.
The apartment has a nice layout, kitchen is very small though. It feels larger than it is and works for my needs. We have two adults, one toddler, and cat. The windows are terrible at keeping heat though. My bill is often 250.00 for just electricity. I keep my house at a cool 68 degrees, maybe 72 if it's really cold outside. I've put curtians up on all, keep doors closed. The lowest it's been is 195.00. So that sucks! The carpet is worn and cheap, hard to clean (espically with a toddler). I do like the shower, very hot. The back deck is great, it's covered and has tall railing so my toddler can play out there without worry. There's also a storage closet that works nicely for misc crap I seem to keep. :)
Finally, the laundry facility. It's dirty, it's inefficent in my needs and I don't trust my neighbors. I went down one day to find a dryer for my wet clothes. Someone had kept a dryer for (which was off) for over an hour. I got tired of waiting. I nicely put her clothes on the folding racks. Put the money in my dryer and started it. When I came back they had opened my dryer all the way and just left it. So an hour of my time was wasted. I've also had people try to take my laundry supplies. After washing and drying a small load you will pay 2.50. I drive to families houses and do laundry while visiting. Thank god for them.
So overall....for $625.00 it is worth it. Just remember you get what you pay for; every cent.
