I moved out last June (2002) and was a good thing. The homes were HUGE, but had mold EVERYPLACE (i had a newborn child, not a good place for children), kids ran in and out of the road all day long, no parking for guests, our next door neighbor was seeling drugs 24 hrs a day, the landlord was nosey and always trying to get in everyone's business (the previous one was terrible though too).. it was a TERRIBLE experience.. and here's a little fact no one talks about:

the apts were falling apart and infested with mold, instead of tearing them down, they painted over the mold and did some renovating, but the bad renovation shows through everything, our front door had huge gaps around it and we had HUGE electricity bills, we had a spider infestation when we first moved in and THE LANDLORD REFUSED TO FIX THE PROBLEM!! He gave up a can of bug bomb and said for me and my female roommate to "fix it ourselves"!!

The roof always leaked, and the gutters were always full of pine needles and so the water would flood aroudn our door.

bad bad bad.
