I was new in town and I did not know about this rating network until now. I had a lease at Beaumont Grand in Lakewood Washington for six long horrific months. The staff is very rude, especially the asian girl that works in the office. The parking area floods when it rains <-(and we all know how much it rains in Washington State) especially the east portion of the community lot. The noise level is incredibally a nusance and if you let the staff know about it, they give you a lot of hot air or I'll just say "nothing". The maintenance or slow at fixing plumbing problems and the toilets usually stop up during high rain levels (not only did I experience that but other neighboring tenants mentioned it to me as well). I did not get my deposit back even though my aparment was kept just as neat and clean as it was when I first moved in. They told me it does not matter how well kept my apartment was but most of the deposits are used to upgrade apartments after old tenants move out. One of my friends mentioned to me that not only was their deposit kept by Beaumont Grand staff but they were also charged water and electricity an extra month after they had moved out and was sent to a collection agency and they did not know about it until some months later. Beaumont had their forwarding address and their phone number but did not notify them of the charges. When they contacted Beaumont Grand they found out that their deposit was used to upgrade the apartment for a newer fresher look for new tenants and they were told that it was not their fault that the utility companies did not know they had left the aparment until a month later. My friend had asked the utility company to confirm with Beaumont leasing staff the day they moved out but Beaumont would not cooperate and straighten it out. Beaumont is in charge of the water bill so beaumont knew the exact day the tenant moved out. Beaumont new the electricity was to be scheduled to be turned off when the tenant left but would not confirm the date the tenant moved out. What a rip off. So if you like flooded parking lots, and a leasing office staff that will speak nasty and rude to you and could care less about you but will rip your bank account off and take you for every cent they can, then Beaumont Grand is the place to be. But if you want to live in a decent and peaceful environment and get treated with respect and dignity while you are paying your hard earned cash and not to be ripped off when you move out then RUN!!! from Beaumont Grand Apartment Community in Lakewood Washington, RUN!!!
