I just renewed my lease pretty much because i'm getting deployed soon and i can just show my orders to get it released, then move on base. So many reasons why not to rent here,so ill start by listing.
-The office here listens to complaints but never really does anything about them. If your a tenant here you have a billion warning's and will never really get kicked out.
-People park in the red blocking your assigned parking space constantly and your not aloud to get them towed. Only ''official'' beaumont employees are the only one's that can call the number to get people towed if the offenders aren't directly in your parking spot. So people just wait until the office closes and park there , so in the end your screwed and have to make a 50 point turns to park.
-Our neighbors have left trash outside there doors, have wrestled , have thrown dog ---- on our porch, from there balcony. Beaumont was notified every time, they still do all these things. I asked for the dog ---- to be cleaned off my porch it took them three days to do so, because there is no hose accessible to us.
-I like the apartment itself except for the paper thin walls, we constantly hear our upstairs neighbors participating in (baby making). Which is ironic because now they have a baby which i am probably going to be hearing to.
-The gates are never shut sometimes and sometimes they are always shut, which is very inconvenient if you never bothered to ''rent'' there 40$ gate opener. So the ''gated community'' isn't very ''gated''.
-My truck got broken into in our ''gated'' community, they don't like to add that the walk through isn't gated, or ever shut. I had my tom tom stolen my window busted, so that was fun, I told the office and all they said was ''ok''.
-if you need office help anytime after closing hours don't bother because you cant. and they close early on sundays.
-its not worth paying 928 a month for a 1bd/1ba apartment , and its only 928 a month cause we've been here for a year which means our lease didn't go up in price ''as much'' like others, plus my military discount. It would be a nightmare to live here as a civilian. I would suggest to anyone looking for a place to live to look towards renting a house which you could do for much cheaper then this apartment complex. Also a house would have much more room, this apartment is nice for a ''apartment'' but for this price you could do much better. I just hope with this review people don't waist a year living here like i did, its a decent drive to get on base to...
The only good thing about beaumont is they have a gym, which your charged for. Also the maintenance and grounds keeping in my opinion is acceptable.
