A new manager took over, and I was asked to sign an agreement that would have made me liable if mold were found in the apartment. I refused. Then, I was preparing to move, and had boxes stored outside the apartment door. The assistant manager asked if he could have them, because he was preparing to move too. Soon after, the manager asked if I would remove the boxes, saying the boxes were a fire hazzard. I had no other place to put them. A week later, the boxes disappeared. Seems suspect, aside from the fact that the event could constitute theft of personal property.
