I'm not even sure how to begin this.. We have lived in this apartment a little under a year and cannot get out fast enough. Initially, the size and layout seem nice but that quickly is forgotten when you see that there is NO cupboard space and the kitchen is very small. The ventilation is terrible; to dry clothes we have turn on the fan by the laundry, the fan in the bathroom, and crack a couple of windows or the whole place fogs up and gets moisture on the walls. Cracks around the front door and other places along edges let in smells like animal's litter boxes or the downstairs neighbor's cigarettes. The new garbage system, that tenants had no say in, leave piles of trash in front of our doors which is a major fire hazard. We have to jump over neighbors' garbage sacks as we carry grogeries up the stairs. Plus the garbage doesn't even get picked up on days it is supposed to, sometimes we go days with it piling up. Also, cigarettes pile up on the stairs, there are dried up piles of what looks like puke and loogies, and a neighbor let their dog go to the bathroom on the stairs so there is now crap smooshed into the stairs. Now onto the trashy people they let in here.. There have been drive-by's, cars broken into, and my car was vandalized by a neighbor on 4th of July. They let off what looked like bottle rockets directly at my car and I had to go have it buffed out. Kids skateboard right next to cars and hit cars all the time. The neighbors drink and party every weekend and once their drunk they have screaming matches in the parking lot. Last night actually we heard one neighbor tell another person he was going to shoot him in the face. Lastly, while management seems very nice they DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!! We have complained numerous times and are completely disregarded. Maybe it is worse depending on which building at Seeley Lake Apartments you live in but as for this one, it is horrible.

I would definitely tell this person to complain to the company's corporate office about the trash issue. On-site staff are not owners of the property, they are just employees. And most of the time their hands are tied because they do not make those big decisions. Believe me, best advice, go to the top to get the problems resolved...especially when is comes to the health are safe keeping of your family. The more fuss you and your neighbors make, the more likely it is that they will have to listen. Posting comments here will not open their eyes and ears to the problem. About the other stuff, it is just unfortunate that people cannot be considerate to everyone around them. Apartment living is the pits. It's like living with someone you hate sometimes.

Let me tell you.....We are running into the same situtation what seemed like a beautiful place to live has turned out to be one of the WORST decisions we have ever made. The excuse that managements hands are tired is a bunch of BS they only seem to want to enforce the easy non-effort taking rules. Doesn't matter about vandilism or vehicle break-ins or even cleaning up after your dog... but don't ever think about putting your trash out before the proper times. My advise is STAY FAR FAR FAR AWAY........
