The Fairways ripped me off the best that they could.

The Fairways, at first you think it would be a fine place to live. When you see it you think, wow, best place in Longview... They give you a tour of their best apt. But, then they shove you in one that has a ton of mold. Now, they have new management but it isn't too great. They somehow managed to paint with moldy paint in my apt which they wont admit to. I couldn't live there to begin with, I would come home and my family would say, "Wow, you stink, can you please shower and wash your clothes while you're here' Your smell is giving me a headache." they would come over and open the windows all the time but it would never help. I moved out two months before I was supposed to be out of that hell hole, I left the windows open and the back door open and came back to clean it out right before I moved out... and it still smelled the same. With a newborn baby and a fiance who had a transplant the mold was just not safe.
The next thing I am about to say ruined my whole apartment experience, forever.
One thing that the fairways do not explain to you in their lease, at all... is that you have one parking space and the rest of the parking is guest parking and you need to move your 2nd car every 24 hours. It says that NOWHERE in the lease, which to me is grounds for sueing. So, hint hint fairways. I had just had a baby, and my fiance was in the hospital because of heart problems. and they put a notice on my car... I thought the notice was there because I had parked in someone else's numbered spot, (as a neighbor told me that was the reason... believeable, so I move my car into a non numbered spot) Well, I had been living at the hospital with my fiance at the time so I had NO idea that my car had been towed till I got a letter in the mail at my parents house (because it is their car) saying that my car had been impounded two days ago. I was pissed. I called the manager, the whole time all she did was cover her ass and did not try to help me out even though this rule was not in the lease. They also tried to tell me that my car wasn't in the lease information (it's on the first page) So, the manager makes me cry. I take my dad with me to the office and I expected him to yell but he was very calm... The first thing the manager did was start telling us we were completely wrong and to stop yelling at her. (we weren't yelling) So eventually the yelling starts and I'm yelling and she's yelling. She tells us to leave and she is going to call the cops on me and get a restraining order (which she did not have grounds for) And so I slammed the door on the way out and said something mean to her, well not that mean but I said, "YOU ARE A HORRIBLE PERSON" as I am crying.
So, after that I decided to move.
I will never want to live in another apt because of that.
Some other things about this place, it is quite loud. there are usually parties on hott nights so you can't have your window open really... but I am young and so I didn't really make a fuss about it. My friends also once turned in their rent money on the last day possible and the office accused them of actually turning it in early the morning after just so that they could charge them a fee. They are also young.
I feel like they just really like to take advantage of young couples.
Do not rent here, you will regret it.
