The previous review WAS accurate, but with new owners and managers taking over the building, the crackheads are gone. I was unfortunate enough to take an apartment previously lived in by one of said crackheads. Holes in the (old) carpet, nicotine stains bleeding through the paint. I requested some action like replaced carpet but they said no. It was liveable though. The neighbors, while sometimes too loud or rowdy, were a fun and friendly bunch. On to the new managers. They ousted 90% of the "problem" tenants (though no one ever bothered me) and filled the apartments with quiet neighbors. Dull, but I guess I can see how it was a good thing. I will warn you that the husband is a nasty grouch, and not the least bit friendly. He spends his days catching illegal garbage dumpers with his new security camera and takes glee in posting the court settlements for all to see, and if you have a guest, they better not mistakenly park in ANY parking space or else a) You'll get a nasty visit from him full of backhanded comments on your intelligence and ability to follow "simple rules" or b) you guest will be towed without warning. Any notice or memo you recieve will have the same snarky tone. I lived here almost 4 years and much preferred the excessive noise with friendlier managers. Even the crackheads were friendly as long as you were friendly to them. I'm finally moving on at the end of this month, not because of any final straw, but because the opportunity came and there's just nothing keeping me here anymore.
