Horrible, loud, crazy, noisy neighbors. Short staffed. Amenities are pathetic. In Nov 08 there was 1 machine in the fitness room and a pool table but you had to bring your own stick. Mold and mildew in apartments. Filthy carpets and kitchen floors that they leave unreplaced for years and years. Thin walls, aluminum windows. MOISTURE MOISTURE MOISTURE. One person paying for water, sewer, garbage for a 1 bedroom is a HUGE AMOUNT! Many solicitors!
Seriously. They use the fact that they are so close to the Mall to lure you in. After that... it is all down hill. However, if you are desperate and have no where else to go... and have an eviction on your record... they will probably accept you.

We couldn't agree more. We have spoken to many people that live all around us, that found it funny that by thier own admissions, that had bad scary felony records, eviction after eviction and rotten credit scores. This is alarming, if not down right horrifing to those of us that work hard to keep it from not turning "upside-down" on the positives of good credit, to have to live with those who choose not to care. Make no mistake, I recieve a loud notice by snailmail, email and text message because I subcribe to a banking service that anytime anyone even sneezes on my credit report or runs a check with any of my information I would know. That most certianly was the type of information investigated on the Alderbrooke application, it would light up light a Christmas tree. But no alerts of any kind ever posted. "NO WAY", did Alderbrooke's screening company even run a check of any kind on both of us before we moved in. They just cashed the check, and pocketed the funds instead and passed us with out any verifications. NONE! They did not call our brokers, employers, bankers( that services the loans our out of state residence or any of our properties). Not even one call to even see if we paid even our bills, and we would know. We have used the same companies for years. They did not inquire with any of the "Big Three Credit Companies" to boot. There is always an inquiry record from them, by federal law. So if they did not check us out, with really good ratings and passed us in with out REALLY knowing just who we were, what happens to the creepy unemployed people with crumby credit and evictions???????? They become your next-door nieghbors, that's what. This problem is a direct reflection of Alderbrooke and it's tenants and it shows. So you might not really know who your nieghbors are or if that is really Mr.& Mrs jones that lives next to you in that buliding. I am sure this practice is widely known in the area and all the undesireables have taken advantage with this free-bee, pay in screening process that must just look the other way gift. Thanks for nothing with our $85.00!
