I don't understand the other reviews of this place. The landscaping here is beautiful as are the apartments themselves, and the staff has been nothing but helpful and kind.
Alderwood Heights is located just up the street from Alderwood Mall as well as a high school and some movie theatres. One would think this would lead to a high level of crime, but still there is very little crime. The office said there wasn't, but I didn't believe them until I checked with my brother who is a police officer.
The complex shares edges with a not-so-busy street, a retirement complex, a park, and a small forest. I was a little worried by the park, but right behind it is an expensive neighborhood, so nothing too bad ever goes on there.
I have had little contact with the staff, mostly because I've had almost nothing to complain about, but every time I go in there they are friendly and courteous. When the washing machine wouldn't drain, the maintenance staff came over right away and a day later I had a new washer and dryer.
The apartments are all well kept, spacious, with fireplaces, washer and dryer, plus track lighting in every room.
This place may not be the highest quality apartment complex, but you'd be hard put to tell the difference.
