Cave dwelling...

Where to start.... things started out pretty good when we first moved in around the beginning of 2000. As mentioned in another review, the management is friendly but flakey - they were when we first moved in, and it hasn't improved since. To give you some examples - when our first lease was up, and we wanted to renew it, it took us 6 tries before we actually found someone in the office who was capable and authorized to print up our papers so that we could sign them. Same with the repairs - it will usually take at least a week from your first call before someone shows up (no guarantee they can/will fix things right away). We reported a leaky toilet back in October of '01, and it still hasn't been fixed in 05/02 (we're moving out in June). As far as the cave dwelling goes - we never have direct sunlight, due to the positioning of the apartments & trees. Apartments are old, and could use a remodel. Unless of course you like old, yellow / orange counter tops, and old looking, grainy wood. Rent seems about average at around $1 per square foot (for longer term leases - month to month is much higher).
