I lived at this apartment for over 2 years before moving out because I wanted to get a roomie and save even more money by splitting costs. Let me say this: many times, these websites are used as a final gripe by bad tenants or former employees (sadly, both have posted here previously)... this is my honest review as someone who does not fall in either category...

1) The staff (office and maintenance) is extremely great to work with. They were always polite, smiling, and helpful. If I had a maintenance request, it was followed through within 24 hours.

2) The places are well built. Of course, since this apartment complex does attract a younger crowd at times, noise can be a concern with loud music and whatnot. This isn't too big of a deal though.

3) They have landscapers continuously working on the lawn - but one drawback in certain areas of the complex is the irrigation. Depending on the hill/incline you are in, water can start flooding around / near the sidewalks - which can be annoying.

4) The prices are fair and the location is simply excellent. I mean, you can walk to the mall with no issue whatsoever... and as big as the Alderwood Mall is getting, this is wonderful.

5) The security is an issue. I did have my car broken into /stolen while living there - but - my car (little to my knowledge) was one of the most easily stolen cars in the last 20 years. When I needed locks changed that night because my keys were lost, maintenance did it at 1am without batting an eyelash. It made me feel safe even in such circumstances. (I later bought a different vehicle and problems were solved.)

Overall, this is a great place to live with staff, cost, and location being the real keys to the deal. If you want to have a good experience with people who will go out of their way for you, choose Alderwood Park.
