Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
The apartments are amazingly new (at this writing, < 3 years old) and the facilities - pool, workout room - are exceptional.
However, the parking is horrible. the vast majority of spaces (more than 2/3) are taken up by covered/garage parking, for which tenants are charged a premium. If one arrives home just 1/2 hour past rush hour, it is impossible to park near one's residence. Factor in getting small children accross the complex (and possibly up stairs to the third floor), and the prospect becomes very unreasonable (believe me, I know).
Also, the play area for kids is pathetic, and there is nothing else at all within walking distance for kids.
The only things within walking distance are convenience stores and one small teriyaki restaurant.
