Overall, our stay at this apartment was fairly good (good for living in an apartment, that is). We lived there for over 3 years and considered it our home during that time. At the time of our move in, we went through the inspection making notes primarily of our dirty and stained carpets. Then each time we renewed our lease, we would mention our carpets and even ask for them to be cleaned, with no results. Finally when we moved out, we got a gigantic charge for changing to carpets due to "pet damage" when we did not have a pet!! THis charge was very large (over $500), not to mention the other rediculous charges that they tacked on for cleaning. When talking to a maintance man about what happens at move out (prior to us moving out) he stated that they typically replace carpets after a person has lived in an apt. for more than 2-3 years as there is normal wear and tear in these cheap carpets. However, the apartment managers would not accept that it was normal wear and tear. IT has been a horrible experience and I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMMUNITY TO ANYONE FOR ANY REASON!!!!
