Of all the postings, listen to mine. Brandemoor looks nice from the outside but it is a totally different story once you move in. The noise is terrible. You can hear people talking in other apartments and the quiet hours are a joke. They don't respond to complaints with any force. I have been having the same problem for months.

And the parking is even worse. You get one reserved place which in most cases is awesome but if you don't rent a garage with your apartment and want one later, too bad. The theft is the highest I have ever seen. I was scared to park my car outside at night. Check out the police records, there is at least one break in almost everynight at Brandemoor. The staff is the office puts on a fake look and tell you they are sorry this happened but they knew when you went there that there is a problem. They don't try to fix the issue either. They tell you that it is a part of living in the Seattle area and it happens. The girls in the office are just that girls. They don't what they are doing and can't even solve a simple noise complaint. The people they did have that were awesome are "no longer working for Avalon." I wonder why. They probably got smart and moved on.

The maintenance is alright and responded quickly but didn't alway fix the problem. On several occasions I had to have maintenance come back out.

Then on top of all my problems in this place they decided to raise my rent $75. Sorry but I wouldn't stay here even if they lowered my rent. Having a spacious apartment is not worth risking your car and peace of mind. Please check out the crime rate before renting. You will get broken into. I have talked with several nieghbors and they have all been broken into even one of their own maintenance guys got his car broken into.

I can attest to the fact that the car theft in this complex is a problem. My hustand and I have lived here since July 2005 and just recently, someone stole the grill off of the front of our car!! I couldn't believe it. The neighborhood is not safe. Although we are staying in the Lynnwood area, I don't think we will stay at Avalon Brandemoor once our lease expires in May.
