I have lived in Seattle for 15 years...in the major city centers...when my partner and I moved to the Brandemoor I was skeptical. To my surprise, I have really enjoyed it. I have found the office staff to be very friendly and upfront about everything. I have not had an issue with security or things missing (i.e. lock your door!) Our neighbors are nice and we have not had issues with them at all....we did have a noise issue once with our upstairs neighbor and we spoke with them and it was resolved immediately. I have had some issues with maintenance come up and they were resolved within 24 hours of being brought up. The parking situation has never been a problem since everything is closely monitored (or seems to be)...all in all, a great experience. I have had issues with parking, security and maintenance in all the buildings that I have resided at in Seattle, and honestly, we are getting much more for our money here than we were there. I have read other reviews on this site regarding this complex, and frankly I am surprised at some of the statements made. I would encourage anyone looking at moving here to read their lease thoroughly before signing....that way there are no surprises....at least not bad ones.

I just moved in a week ago and i ALWAYS ALWAYS lock my door. the broke into it and hot wired it , so dont think that people who get their car stolen is because they dont lock their car, dont be ignorant. you obviously are fake and dont really live here!!!!!

This is in response to the previous anonymous response. Your car could get broken into anywhere in this area. It has nothing to do with the apartment complex. I got the impression the reviewer was talking about their apartment door, not their car.

When I realized I'd be parking outdoors for a while, I got a more tame vehicle several years ago with a theft-deterrent device (blinking light and all). Getting something stellar without also paying for a garage is just dumb in any apartment, condo, house, etc. Surprise- I've never had a break-in. And when I moved in to a ground floor apartment, I checked the sliding door lock. When it didn't latch properly while locked, the maintenance guy arrived within the day to fix it. All maintenance has been pretty prompt, actually, and it was for pre-existing issues.
