These apartments look nice from the outside and the grounds are beautiful. However many of the things I identified as needing to be fixed when I moved in were not fixed. Some were serious such as my sliding patio door not locking. Overall they are fairly new apartments so generally in good condition.

It's close to the expressway and to route 99 and that makes commuting and shopping easy. However I get a lot of road noise from 164th Street and from cars in the lot. Lots of high volume bass stereos and things like that.

Overall the people are nice. Pretty much down to earth blue collar people and recent immigrants. There are some more scary people who look like gang members. I've not had any problems though, at least not yet. The complex does seem extremely crowded. I have to wait in a small line sometimes after work to pick up my mail. They put all the boxes in one place in one small building. So it's a madhouse when people come home.

I disagree that the apartments are quiet. I get lots of noise from the people above who act like they are living in a private home. Heavy walking, kids running around late at night pounding the floor, and late night washing. It's nice that the units have washers and dryers though.

Overall it's not a bad place, but I do feel it's overpriced. Overall the office people have been OK. They were rude to me once and told them about it and they haven't repeated it. A lot of the complexes employees live in the complex. Something that concerns me as to how they can afford it. There is a lot of turn over of apartments.

When I move, I'm going to have an attorney handle it after reading all the problems on here. I do think many of the highly positive reviews are written by employees of the company if not the actual office staff.

I had a sliding door that didn't lock on the ground floor as well, and didn't think to check it until about a few weeks after moving here in April. It wasn't on my move-in checklist, of course, but when I told the office about the non-locking door, they responded with a maintenance worker within the day. The door locks fine now (I jiggle-test it, too) and the maintenance guy has come to fix anything that might've gone awry within a day or two at most. The only exception was when my vertical blinds jammed and the guy showed up promptly, but then had to wait approximately a week until a new order of blinds arrived. They coordinated with my schedule very well, though. I think the noise level just depends on which area of the complex it is you live. I purposely wanted a unit on the side, away from the street, so there would be fewer people around me. I do face the parking lot, but it isn't as main of a route.

They blew off fixing a lot of things when I moved in. They fixed one thing of the five or six I identified and nothing that would actually cost them anything, like replacing a flooring tile. Their maintenance people are scary looking. Think about people you see hanging round the jail downtown.

They also refused to fix anything I identified when I moved in. But I'm sure they'll try to get me to pay for all of the things I identified when I moved in as being damaged or broken. I'm going to have my attorney handle it. I asked them for a copy of my move in checklist and they refused to give it to me. I already have a copy I just wanted to see if they'd do it and they wouldn't. I'll get an attorney when I move.
