I am probably writing this prematurely because my current lease isn't up until end of next March, but having already HAPPILY lived here for over two years, I thought I'd put my two cents in. Won't be renewing my lease 'cuz a 2BR-2BATH Townhome with a 2-car attached garage is just too large and too costly for a single lady. BUT...I have loved living here more than I ever did when owning my last home. The staff/management has been friendly, supportive, and yes they DO follow-up on complaints one has made. What complaints' Well, the occasional partying neighbors, loud stereos, illegally parked vehicles. These things happen in ALL apartment complexes, folks - the Avalon staff, again, responds to one's complaints AND the problems stop. The only problem management cannot fix are the poorly insulated walls. There is much I've heard in the past few years that really wasn't my business, and the floors creak miserably, particularly the staircase landing. BUT...if you want ASTONISHING closet space, bright clean kitchen, a feeling of safety and HUGE floor plans, not to mention a quick walk to the park 'n ride for those who commute to Seattle as I do, then this is the place to be.
