I lived at this complex for 8 years. Through this period of time I think there were four or five different management companies that bought the place. When I first moved in the place was not that good. Lots of drug dealers and "bad people" were living in the complex, especially the 2 and 3 bedroom units. The front units are all 1 bedroom and the atmosphere was a lot different than the back end of the complex, which was like a ghetto. I happened to live in the front end in a 1 bedroom most of the time I was there but also lived in a 2 bedroom. When I was in the 2 bedroom there just happened to be a wife beating drug dealer that lived down below and all day and night cars would pull up for about 2-5 minutes then leave. Hmmmmm....wonder what they were doing. Then one night I heard the guy beating the crap out of his wife so I called the police. Actually I had called the police a lot there because of all the crap that went on. The guy went to jail and the wife packed up and left, leaving her pets in the apartment. Days went by before anyone noticed she wasn't coming back. The dog and cat had been in there for 3 days!

Fast forward to more recent time and the place was a bit better. I always felt relatively safe in my section and never had any trouble or break-ins in my car. My unit was OK but when I moved in it was filthy and I had to clean it myself and they hadn't painted in years BEFORE I moved in. The rug was in terrible condition and when I left it wasn't any better, that's for sure.

But what I can say that is good is in 8 years my rent was only raised once and every time I had a maintenance problem they came quickly and fixed it. Most of management company employees were nice from all the various different companies that owned the place. Last year a new management company bought the place again and changed the name and painted and renovated a lot of the apartments. I think they are really trying to clean the place up and they also evicted and didn't renew TONS of leases. The new manager told me there were too many questionable people in the complex, which I could see with their behavior.

So basically I can't really recommend or not recommend this place. Part of the complex WAS terrible, the back end. But the front end was very good and I never had any problems.
