NEVER LIVE HERE PLEASE READ BELOW FOR DETAILS
We lived at Cambridge Square North from August 2006-August 2008. Here are the many maintenance problems we had while living there.

1) When we first moved into the apartment we had problem with the fridge door which was fixed with glue, but the shelf was still unusable after that. Then we asked it to be fixed but it was not. Therefore we could never store anything in the fridge door.
2) Next I notified the management that our tub was leaking into the walls, they did nothing to fix it for many months when finally the lady below us complained that her ceiling was leaking water. They then sealed the wall and all the moisture in with it.
3) I later requested a work order to remove the mold on our ceiling in our bedroom. This was caused by the gutters which were filled with pine needles causing overflowing and water getting under the shingles and soaking the drywall. The maintenance men gladly painted over it but when it quickly returned they refused to do anything to fix it and said it was a "house keeping" problem.
4) Our dryer broke in our unit, it was fixed 7 days later. It then quickly broke again (about a week later) and was not fixed for 17 days! They then would not refund our money we used for drying our clothes at a laundromat.
5) The mechanism in the front window in our apartment broke and the window would no longer close all the way. This was quite unsafe since the front window was right next to the front door where anyone could walk in.

After having all of these problems we broke our lease because they were not doing their job and we thought if taken to court we would not have to pay the fee. When going to court we did not have the proper proof to show all this happen so we ended up still having to pay half the fees! So now our credit score is lower and our rental history is no longer perfect all because of the poor management at this
apartment.

Another thing to take note of we were also witnesses to a gang murder that happened outside our bedroom on a late Saturday night. Not a good neighborhood!

The only reason we lived her so long is it was walking distance to my work and the park and ride was right across the street so it was an easy trip to school at UDUB.

We had the exact same problems and had to break our lease. we had brown water from our sinks that they would not fix, we had many problems with washer/dryer, leaking in bathrooms, they take there time to come out- we will be going to court soon on this sitation.

I agree with all of the above statements! No one has caused me more grief than the people who run this place. Unbelievable. Now they think that they can paint the outside and make it look better! No one should be fooled by appearances. Are they replacing all of the water pipes so that there will be clean water? No way! So many places do all of the cosmetic stuff...new paint, counters, appliances, etc. Doesn't resolve the underlying problems. I can't even begin to list all of the problems that I had while living here. These comments are the real deal. I would love to get people together and take them to court! They ruined my perfect credit by turning me over to collections for money that I DID NOT owe! I firmly believe that what goes around will come back to bite you. They have theirs coming without a doubt.

Checked with the police dept about that "gang murder" - they know nothing about that.
