nightmare apartment

Years at this apartment: 2000 - 2004
Mold in bathroom behind wall and under linoleum to the point that the wallboard essentially dissolved in one spot - did they replace the board' No, just patched it, and poorly at that. The linoleum they claimed was "stained" was actually mold growing under it - you could watch the pattern change and feel the floor getting softer.
The carpet was stained and foul on move-in: the person before us had overhauled an engine in the livingroom and there were stains from his work and bleach spots from where he tried to clean up.
The grounds out back of the apartment were boggy and impossible to walk on for half the year.
Noise complaints were not taken seriously, and the staff would do nothing to enforce apartment rules.
Aggressive dogs were tolerated on the property.
The closet doors would not stay on the railings and the maintenance people would not fix them properly - would not replace the bent tracks, just set the doors back in. After a couple times of that, we just removed the doors and lived with them that way.
We constantly had people parking in our reserved covered spots and management would do nothing about it.
The first year we were there, before the manager of the property changed, it was much better, but when the assistant became the manager, it all went downhill.
I would not recommend this property to anyone.
