As a military wife who is always moving, buying a house isn't an option. This place is fantastic. They have gotten the parking issue under control. (the only time you don't ALWAYS get your usual area to park in is if you come home in the middle of the night and someone has visitors who don't park on the street)The kids running around unchecked, screaming, all hours of the day. But they do go in at night, and when the curfew goes into effect for part of the year, the parents DO have them adhere to it. I have not seen a single break in on cars. Just one person backed into someones tail light and didn't leave a note. Any time an in unit appliance breaks, it is dealt with in a timely manner. The only door slamming we have heard is people that just don't realize that when you don't hold the doors while they close, they automatically slam. No druggies, no domestic disputes, no violence, no nothing. As far as the smoking, people have their right to smoke on the balcony. Until smoking is made illegal everywhere it's bound to happen. I don't smoke, but my friends that come over do. And I am more than willing to put up with other people's smoking habits because it's THEIR lungs. You don't want to smell smoke, close the windows when you smell it. Management is wonderfully attentive and friendly. Grounds are well maintained. And my one added bonus is that since my husband is deployed in Japan, I get a lot of packages. They are fantastic about letting me know promptly that I have one waiting for me. Not to mention they are always nice enough to ask how he is doing and when he is home next. We have lived here for a year and a few months, and I plan on staying here until my husband is stationed elsewhere.
