bad communications with management

Although I loved the unit I lived in. I would like to suggest looking else were for an apartment. Parking at best is terrible.
I would also like to suggest that you go over contract terms with the management closely. When I moved in I signed a 1 year lease. 30 days prior I recieved notice that I would need to sigh a new lease or pay an additional $200.00 a month rent as a penilty. I opted to move out and did not sign a new lease. I moved out about one month after my lease exspired and was charged the extra $200.00
When moved out I left the apartment in great condition. As matter of fact I was told bye managment that it looked better than any other unit they had seen after someone moved out.
It has know been 6 months and I just recived a call from a collection agancey threting me to report a $80.000 balance I owed after my move out.
The way I see it is that these people are jerks. They did not take into account of the condition of the apartment unit after I moved out and they did not go over the contract terms with me when I moved in.
So for a balance of $80.00 I was taken to collections. Thanks so much Kellers Corner. I am so glad that I left my unit in a move in condition. Which I know does not happen very often.
