I miss it already...

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
I lived at Park Five for about a year and a half, and couldnt have asked for more. I have lived in Several different places, so I know the normal things to expect when renting... (neighbor noise, lower end appliances etc.) these things are pretty much UNAVOIDABLE when renting. I Loved the management staff, and could tell they took their job very personally. It is a small complex, so you really get to know your management and neighbors. Whenever anything needed fixing, the issue was always promptly addressed, and they always followed up to make sure the situation was resolved. The layout of the apartment was very good: large bedrooms, full sized bathrooms, lots of closet space. The kitchen was small, but functional. The back patio was well sized, and free storage was a plus. Management was very fair when it came time to move out, and the normal "move-out-ripoff" did not exist with them. Before I moved in,
I was hesitant at first only because the complex is directly accross from the park and ride, and I felt this was some what sketchy... actually i learned to like it. First, you could take the bus anytime, anywhere, and as I found there was ALWAYS a sheriff parked there, so I actually felt real safe, and there was never any weirdness because of the park and ride. Besides the freeway is so close, it REALLY cuts down the commute time to seattle.
THere are only 1 & 2 bedroom apartments here, so the families that live here are small, and therefore QUIET. THere isnt a pool or a clubhouse and only a real small playground, but you are not forced to pay extra rent for ammenities that you really hardly use. I probably would have stayed at Park Five for much longer, the rent was right and I loved my place and the location, However I moved because completely unrelated reasons. The only drawbacks I can think of, were that parking, while you do have one reserved space (and the option of renting a covered one) is pretty sparse for visitors or a second car. I always felt that the apartments were set up somewhat backwards, with the living area facing the woods (quiet) and the bedrooms facing the front (sometimes louder). after a little while you get used to the bus noise, but there really isnt too much traffic (its a dead end street) so that does help at night. and again, the kitchen was a little small, but I was able to make it work just fine. Overall i loved living here and would reccomend it to anyone. AD2Hw9Wn8Umb3NN1w1jt
