First of all, let's start with something the landlord can't do anything about. Vandalism. If you don't want your car broken into every other month, this is not the place for you. NOTHING will be done about it.
Now, the good stuff...the managers. I honestly don't know if the managers ever even meet the landlord face to face. But if he hires the wrong ones and they walk off with your rent money, better plan on paying double. That's if you are just starting out of course and can't find your receipt-if you get one anyway.
And NEVER get behind on your rent. If you do, and say Mother Nature decides to move in with you, good luck having something done about it. If there is even a maintenance person employed, it can be weeks before they even come to look at the problem. Notice the term was "look".
So, unless your only other option is a rundown little cardboard box, this should really be your last option.
