this place is a testimony of where you would never desire to reside especially with youbg children or even teenagers for that matter. i have had the misfortune to be a resident at one time in my life for several years.my years invested at this place have been a nightmare and for all trouble regarding heating,mold,electrical and community billing of water sewer and garabage,plumbing,shoootings,theaft,drug dealings ect i found that my biggest problem was with lack of effort,compassion, understanding,and commitment on solving these issues from staff.i must say we at one point had a very great manager(tonya)who was dedicated to making as many changes as possible,in making it a positive living inviorment. Sadly that is no longer so.This place has gone even below the low standard it already had.Another shooting has taken place yet and still we are not allowed to voice these issues with managment. It is a sad day when your security is so easily swiped and your hoousing staff acts like you are bothersome. Staff here sets a very bad rep and show no regard for setting examples.where do you go when you cant go to managment or worse where do you go when managment is your biggest problem.
simply thanking god i know longer live here.
p.s no i was not evicted i moved on free will ha ha.

This is the manager responding and i would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know that i have been at this property for 6 months as well as 15 years in this business and there has not been a shooting at this complex it was down the street and it was an isolated incident and i did check with the police to make sure our area was safe......Everyone is welcome in the office at Serene Village to voice and discuss any issues or problems you may be having my door is always open.....I never received any complaints about shootings or anyones concerns so this is the first i am hearing about this.....Please if you have any issues or concerns about anything dont wait until its to late come in the office and take care of it with me......also, if you have a maintenance need please come in and let us know.....we cant fix what we dont know!!!!...Every manager comes in trying to do the best they can to make the apartment complex look and feel like they have the best out there!!!

I have and still am living at these apartments. I am in complete agreement with the the person that posted this review. I absolutley hate living here. This has been the worst apartment I have ever lived in. I cant wait until my lease is up. There is always police being called to this property and drug dealings going on, and everything falling apart with the apartment. When I first moved in, the apartment's stove was all dirty and the all of the burners were falling off and broken. I tried 3 times to get the maintence in to repair it, and they never did. I eventually had my husband fix it. The manager and the staff obvisliy didnt care. The mold is just plain disgusting and no matter what I do to get rid of it, it always comes back. Not to ramble on, but I would never recommend this apartment to anyone!!!!

I have lived here for going on 3 years, and I also agree with the sentiment (maybe not the facts) of the original poster. This place is garbage. The maintenence woman runs her leaf blower 24/7, so its great if you like leaf blowers. The staff truly does not give a hoot about safety. There is a vicious pit bull being kept against complex policy, who snarls and barks at every single child and dog. Have they removed it after several complaints? NOPE! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE AT ALL!
