For the record, there are NOT new owners, just NEW management. The old people couldn't get a dime out of the owners and quit to save their own companies rep is what the grapevine says.Lotsa rumors going around here tho, so who knows. Yes, the demographics are a BIG problem and unfortunately, LOW rent usually equals LOW CLASS, so beware if it looks too good to be true. I moved a couple months ago and have never looked back, but I do feel bad for the nice people who still are stuck in their leases there & actually also for the previous staff too.(well, some of them) Maintenance was always under staffed. The chubby girl in the office who did the books couldn't get rent right to save her life, and was very rude and acted like I was inconveniencing her by even breathing! The other 2 were usually looking stressed out and frazzled. They did always attempt to be helpful, but made a lot of promises they couldn't keep- maintenance wise. I learned early on that just because they will try to get your leaks and disrepair fixed, does NOT mean it will actually happen in any sort of timely manner... but like others have said the one lone maintenance woman was running around like a chicken w/ her head cut off.It got to the point where I was afraid to put in a work order for fear it would put her over the edge! The office girl with glasses put the most effort onto making my family happy, but sympathy and a sweet demeanor don't fix your toilet or stop the NUMEROUS "mistaken" 3 day notices from coming! I just chock it up to lesson learned. The whole area is bad- honestly and the apartments are run down. Nobody will be happy there, unless they are illegal aliens, bcuz they seem to be the only people who rent to them from the looks of the place! I assume the owners are slum lords and if you have an issue with crime, mold, parking, your rent being LOST, pittbulls and stray bebes kids EVERYWHERE, DO NOT LIVE THERE! the middle school & Highschools are bad too.. just watch the news to see!
