I don't really have any serious complaints about this place--just a LOT of little ones. I moved out about a month ago, after living there for over two years. They raise rent often, but last time was the final straw because they raised rent, trash, AND parking costs all at once and it was a pretty significant increase.

The leasing office hours are pretty much a joke. They have their hours posted, but I don't know how many times I've shown up to find a note slapped on the door saying that they left early... with no explanation. This makes it difficult to pick up my packages.

Good luck getting a live person on the phone. And if you leave a message, don't expect a return call. Ever. You have to call and call and call until you finally get a live person.

The facilities here are nothing spectacular. The "fitness center" has four machines and they're in pretty bad shape. There is an indoor racquetball court and an outdoor hot tub that was broken for the entire time I rented and probably still is.

I have no complaints about the actual units. They seem to be maintained fairly well.

My biggest complaint is the parking situation. There are six guest spots for the entire complex, which means they have to park out on the street. This is limited parking also, and very dangerous. There are soooo many break-ins it's ridiculous. My boyfriend's car was broken into, and one of my roommate's boyfriend's cars was broken into also--that's two out of three of us in about two years. Both their windows were smashed, and I don't know how many other cars I saw destroyed out on that street. It is not a terribly bad part of town but for some reason car breakins are abundant. None of us had any trouble in the parking lot--just out on the street.

I've lived here over a year and i've had a completely different experience: I get packages all the time in the evening and they are always there when I show up right before close; only on New Years Eve did I show up to find they left in the afternoon, and as I took off from work early too I wasn't going to begrudge them the same. The staff almost always answers the phone, but when they don't they call me back that day, usually an hour or so later. My maintenance requests are always handled same day, and even afterwards they will call to follow up on if I was satisfied with the maintenance. True, they're not super friendly, but I find them to be compitent and efficent where it counts. Maintenance is awesome and I really trust them to fix things and be alone in my unit when i'm not home. And, every morning when I go to work one of the maintenance guys is going around the complex picking up trash and tidying up. Break in's in parking lots and on the streeet are commonplace for all apt complexes now matter where you are, even in luxury, gated complexes. A lot of times it has to do with what they see in your car, or the type of car. The only way to ensure you don't get broken into is to rent a garage. I can say this because i've had my car broken into over 9 times in 10 years in a variety of places! Yes, I will agree "guest parking" is a joke, but my visitors can always find a spot on the street. And yes, raising the rent is a total drag, but you know it's going to happen every year no matter where you live, so why be suprised? It's not perfect, but for the price range and size of apt it's way above average. I'm a picky renter but i'm happy here.
